Building Great Engagement with Schmoo

*** PLEASE NOTE *** This lesson is also available on YouTube for free for non-members. This is vary rare and I am adding to the members section because I feel it has a lot of great info and I want members to be able to find it as well.

However, in the member version I left in the correction for Schmoo re-gripping the barrel tug. I explained my reason for this in today’s LIVE. The correction happens quickly and even more quickly you’ll see me re-engage him on the bite. The trick is that he has to know WHEN he CAN and when he CAN’T BITE! I think this will be very clear for you to understand when you watch the video.

There are a lot of very valuable lessons in this video including how I play, how I get my dog to focus and how I correct for bad obedience and for not paying attention. There are many ways to correct and I believe that using different corrections for different infractions is critical for building a solid communication with my dog. I also touch on how I end my play sessions. This is a very important lesson for anyone training a high drive dog. Hope you all enjoy it!
