Schmoo Journal 6 – Recall and Ending the Game

I know I’ve covered the RECALL many times here in the member section, but this video shows you a little different side. The key thing is the major distraction of the kids playing in the background and the dog that ran up on us. You can see even a dominant dog like Schmoo who is committed to the training, his trainer and the game will be safe when there are other dogs running up on him.

I shot this lesson before the fire, but just found it and wanted to post it for you all to see.

Another important thing I show in this video, and it’s one that people ask me about all the time, is “How do you end your training?” In fact, if you watch this lesson for no other reason, let it be for you to see how much fun I make the actual ending of the training. It’s super important to learn this especially with a dog that is full of drive and LOVES to play!
