Prong Collar Mistakes

This is a very short video, and one that I shot a while back. But I just realized it’s sitting on my computer and it contains some valuable information. 

We all know that training tools for dogs are under attack by a very vocal, angry and small minded people who have little knowledge on dog training, real dog training that is. Their claims are always that certain tools can harm the dog. The truth is that ALL TOOLS can harm our dogs, which is why we want to educate ourselves and others on the proper use.

The prong is a great tool, and can help a lot of people and their dogs, so I always want to stay on top of its proper use. This video is a quick bullet point checklist on some common mistakes that people make. Hopefully after watching it you’ll be more aware of these. Even if you’ve seen every video on the prong collar, a quick refresher is always a good idea.
