I’ve never used it but a giant dog (short lifespan) breeder near me offers an extended health warranty on their puppies if you give one you buy the supplement. If I recall it’s basically a good discount on another puppy if yours passes within 5 years or something like that.

Mine slides down on my Lab. Taking a link out is too tight as well. I use the prong collar when walking or running outside with him.

My Labrador Retriever had similar issues for at least several weeks or even a few months when he was a puppy. I was concerned as well. I just kept working with him in safe places and eventually he eased up. Now he’s perfectly comfortable with cars and others noises. We live in a neighborhood surrounded by a rural area. Now he is just a little skittish when he hears gunshots from hunters or fireworks in the distance. I hope your puppy eventually gets used to noises.
