Making your dog, dog neutral is a very good thing, so is stopping him from being a nuckle head when he gets too rough. Eventually those two things will blend into nice play with the dogs that you want him to play with.

I worked on leash training in the house. I put toys and tuna scattered about, as soon as he looked like he was going to get focused on those things I said no, little leash tug, and reward after he passed it by. Now we walk past stinky dead things and squirrels and he ignores them. So proud of my Presa.

Riggan, thank you for taking the time and effort to put this together for everyone. Your particular style of explaining things is extraordinary.

Getting choosey with meals is inevitable when you start mixing in goodies, the more often you do it, the longer they will ignore plain food.

They WILL be food driven for treats if they are hungry, skip or delay a meal, and those treats will be like magic.

Having him walk between your legs is genius.

I just want to take a moment to say how much I miss my beloved Virgil, the pressa. He was a beautiful, affectionate companion who loved to learn. He was so gentle I couldn’t get him to open the refrigerator because he would have to pull too hard. I had to leave this group for a year because the grief was so profound, that seeing a picture of a dog was too painful. I am happy to be back, and look forward to teaching my new Labrador pup all that he can learn.

Some use it for fitness training, some for a supplement to activity when the weather is dangerous.
