I saw this on Robert’s non member live chat (July 4, 2021)
I bring my two dogs to the beach whenever I can and always have @robert ‘s advise in mind. So what I do is I always have one of my dogs on a leash the whole time because I know I don’t have full recall control on her, but I have my other dog off leash when I see a spot on the beach where there aren’t any dogs (lots of stray dogs on that beach) or people around. I let the off leash dog play catch the frisbee or run with me. But the moment we get near people/dogs I call him and put him on the leash again.
