Hi Robert. I just received my Quick release assembly, clicklock 3mm for my Ultra Plus training collar w/center plate assembly, BLK Short Version.Where is the best place to attach the quick release? Should I keep the center plate in place? What makes this the prong collar of your choice? I have another H.S. prong but why did you recommend this Ultra Plus? I examined my new prong with the old and I can’t tell the difference except for the release is different and my old one is silver. Thank you for your patience and everything you do!

My 14 month old Labradoodle gets skittery when I go to take her out for a walk.We live in Brooklyn, NYC.She’s used to the noise and distractions. I’ve never seen her freak out. She was with a trainer for 1 month while I recovered from back surgery. Now, she always runs under the couch or a bench, anyplace she can go where it is difficult for me to get to her.She will not take any kind of treat offered. This isn’t new, she used to do it sometimes, it is much worse now since she’s come home. Once outside, she continues to be nervous, but after 10 or 15 minutes, she relaxes and she’s a pup again.

Hello, hope all is well. I have had my belgian ~2 months, she is rescue about 1.5YO. I am having trouble separating loose leash walking vs heel walking. From what I have researched, heel walking should not be 100% of walk, to be fair to dog and allow them to have fun as well. I implement “BREAK” command to be fair, but feel as if she has been taking advantage and heels/walking have had more pulling. Please clarify, ps nervous dog owner, love your videos and all the work you do!

Hi Robert, I have a nearly 10-month old GSD. Several months back she developed a tail chasing habit. She mostly chases it in the house and more and more it comes with a lot of barking, which has all become very obnoxious. She also ends up running into furniture and, while she is not biting down, her teeth get into things. I’ll use her prong collar in the house with a pull tab or leash for correction or I’ll try to put her in a down. I’ve been trying for months to both gently and firmly correct this, but I’m not getting anywhere. I appreciate your guidance!

Got my pup home yesterday(9week old Mali). Gave up today. I’ve watched the videos and tried to do everything right. All this pup does is scratch me, bite me , and cry. I just don’t think I can do it

Our 7 month old Mali still has an occasional pee accident in the house. We are very consistent with taking him out after playing, sleeping, and eating and praise him every time he pees outside. He is in the crate we take him out have him pee and let him back in the house for approximately 25 minutes free run and still he has an occasional accident. We do not give him any water in the house. Does it typically take longer for a Mali to be completely housebroken. If he starts peeing in the house we say no, bring him outside and praise him if he goes.

Hi Robert, female mal adopted as a rescue 4-5yrs old who gets vocal at physical contact. Doesn’t feel like resource guarding as she does it with everyone in the house since day one but maybe I’m missing it. She’ll bark/yip at hugging or other close contact and if left to her devices will try and put herself between the people, but will stop/redirect with a simple no or sending her to a place. However sexual intimacy with my wife is another story. Our bedroom is upstairs and the dog sleeps downstairs and when she hears us she’ll yip and then escalating barking.
Part 2 – Sometimes she comes upstairs checks on us & will go downstairs & chill out with minimal continued vocalization, but those are the exception rather than the rule. Other times she’ll bark until she stops hearing us, but that has the risk of waking up our son which obviously isn’t ideal. I’ve never had this kind of issue with a dog before and would appreciate any advice on how to navigate to desensitize her.

Hello Robert and family. This winter I plan to do a longer sleddog journey. I will start with 6-7 months old huskys and m my malinois girls 4 and 1.5 years old.
I know from experience that the husky puppies will outperform the malinois girls after about 2-3 months of training when it comes to endurance even if they are training together. my girls love to travel but I I don’l vant them to feel inadequate so I plan to have them running off leash behind us a lot This way they will not get so tired. Running up front in a harness is a very different thing. Your insight would be appreciated.
