Hello Robert, My dog is a 16 month old Pyredoddle. He has a lot of Prey Drive. He knows all of the basic commands, recall, heeling and loose leash walking. He will do everything on the leash with minimal corrections. However, when I do not have a hold of the leash he wants to go into a game of chase and gets amped up. I have not been able to figure out a way to disrupt this behavior. I turn and walk away from him, but when I try to engage with him the game starts again.

My 5 year old Dutch Shepherd who I rescued 3 years ago absolutely inhales water. We train often and are active. He loves food/treats but his biggest drive has always been water. Regardless of activity level, he gorges water and can’t stop unless the water source is removed from him. He’s on a kibble diet and the vet recently put him on a renal diet based off my concerns of water gorging and high kidney levels on his bloodwork. Have you ever seen a dog not be able to stop gorging on water? Any experience with this sort of thing? He gets the vet recommended amount of daily water. Thanks for your time.

Hi Robert – I recently adopted a shelter dog (about 2 years old). I’ve ordered a martingale collar based on your videos on how to deal with reactive dogs. What is your thought about using a back clip harness for a mildly reactive dog? This was what I had to start, but I definitely realize I need different equipment to train her out of her reactivity.

I am bringing home my Corso puppy soon and I have a 3 year old intact male beagle that I had to take in from my uncle who has passed. My vet says I should think about getting the beagle neutered because he might try to challenge the Corso who will obviously be very dominant. What do you think about this and also do you have any tips how I should go forward with any dominance between the dogs like letting the dominant dog enter through a door first, get let outside first etc… thanks sorry for the run on.

Hello Robert, hope you’re doing great! Will there be any tracking tutorial videos coming from you? I’ve got obedience and bite work covered, but tracking is missing for our IGP.
