My brother is watching a 6 month old Golden, that needs a lot of leach training that he can not do right now with his health. How does he find a good trainer in Minneapolis that can take the dog and help him.

I have a 2 yr old Aussie and getting ready to spay. I saw your video on ovariohysterectomy/Laparoscopic. I understand the reason for doing these, but there is no one in my area to do either and they are expensive. She had juvenile cataract surgery and may have to have another surgery. So now I am planning on ovariectomy (standard spay), and feeling guilty. Will it be ok to do the standard spay? Thank you.

My 1 yr old GSD has proximity reactivity toward dogs (barking, arousal, pulling). 50 FT and greater he will look but has no engagement I reward him positively for this. Closer areas, narrow street is where he exhibits negative behaviors. He receives verbal and prong correction the moment he begins to engage. I reverse direction and establish distance as continuing toward the dog only increases his negative behavior. Looking for recommendations in closing the distance gap with full neutrality. We train obedience daily he has an established leave it command however dogs present challenge.

Rocky is a 3 y.o. Bullboxer. During our walk, a small dog was let out of a car unleashed and came running towards us. I told Rocky to sit. He did. When the dog got close, Rocky broke his sit. I said ‘no’ and we walked away. Should I have started walking away as soon as I saw the little dog? He would have caught up with us. I did not want Rocky to be taken by surprise, but I am not sure if “running away” is the right thing to do.

Hello, my 17 week old Belgian Malinois/German shepherd pup is coming along nicely with her training but I am really struggling to stop her from mouthing me continuously while I am luring her through her training. basically she in knawing on my hand/fingers as I lure her through heal, down etc. what’s the best way to stop her from this behavior? I currently use her kibble and cheese sticks as treats.

Hi Robert, So after a long time my F Mal can walk with other dogs, she can sniff
them but I still have a problem, we can be near them but she tries to bite them if I pet them, or aproach my hand. Also I want to find a video of how to teach a dog to get the toy after they did the exercise but not get it until I say so, (I know the is a video I don’t find it) Thanks

Is it ok to use a grooming table to perform sit, down, stay. I have Giant Schnauzers that I do conformation showing and we are bridging into obedience competition. I’m learning so much through your videos. Thank you
