FYI – I noticed a couple of times my camera paused while filming. This should not affect the overall video there may just be a little pause or skip… Enjoy! Happy Easter – Happy Passover! Happy Spring and everything else!!!

We were taking Maggie to Day Care hoping to socialize her with other dogs. After a few visits the photos were of her and humans only. They said she nipped at the other dogs. Maggie can act scary but she is non aggressive and turns on a dime to run from confrontation. She gets plenty of exercise and attention throughout the day at home. I also get laughed at often because I take her for a 1/2 hour car ride everyday. Any suggestions? Thank You PS: We want to keep her familiar with the Day Care in case we need their overnight service.

Hey Robert! Absolutely loving your videos and have been having a blast working with my dogs. I have 2 Australian Shepherds, 1 I raised from a puppy, he does great. I adopted another one, he is around 2 years old. The problem I am having is checking his prey drive. He does great most places but when we come across squirrels, ducks, geese, etc it all goes out the window. I have corrected and corrected, have tried to be more exciting than the distraction but its just not working. He has both a martingale and a prong collar. What are your recommendations?

Bobby, 1.5 year old Shepard mix. (25 pounds) Dumped at the shelter. A little anxious. We have 3-4 dogs at the shelter that are great to socialize around. Titan will correct them if they are getting of control. Works great. If I am giving affection to another dog, Bobby will run and jump towards me, and cause the other dogs to react. Any advice? He seems fine when he is alone with anyone. Never goes after the other dogs, just wants at me if I am giving affection to another dog.

My 3 year old German Shepherd has a fetch obsession. When we go into the back yard he will bark at me and sometimes jump on me until I give in and take out a ball to throw. I’m looking for suggestions on how to break this behavior. We’ve tried waiting him out, but he can bark for a long time! He won’t respond to his basic commands when in this mode (One reason I became a member). Do I start taking him out on a leash maybe when we go into the back yard?

HI Robert, long time I have a 22 month old Dutch Shepherd. Who when in the car goes crazy barking and clawing to get out who she sees a person running or another dog, I have recently purchased a ecollar. My worry is if I use it in the car will it not make her afraid of the car.  She is reactive to dogs she dose not know.  Many thanks

Our 4 month Mal constantly bites on his leash when walking, I use a long leash and incorporate a lot of turns, what is the right way to correct him from leash biting. I have watched your leash videos but none of the dogs are biting the leash. Thanks

Hi Robert! I have a mal/GSD cross in training for PSA. I taught him a reliable out using the two ball game and it transferred well onto the decoy. Then we decided to pair the out to his e collar which was working fine for a while.  Now his out is unreliable and is needing higher and higher e collar reinforcement. I’m thinking about back tracking to the two ball game and taking the e collar out of the equation. What are your thoughts on this?

We have a very chill, happy golden-doodle, 2 years old.  He loves all people and dogs, is afraid of almost nothing.  He’s not particularly active, but he adores the dog park.  However, every morning when the leash comes out to go the dog park, he goes in the opposite direction and almost cowers.  In cars, he never relaxes…in my husband’s bigger truck, he tends to tremble.  We don’t think he’s car sick.  After all this time, he still hates cars, but loves to be wherever they take him….running straight and excited into the dog park.  Seems less timid on the way home, but still unhappy.  Suggestions?

Hi Robert, I enjoy your presentations of your method of dog training. I have a 1 year old Australian Shepherd who is going well in her training. I have been considering eventually stepping up to include an E-co;ar in her training. I have watched your introduction to E-collar series but have a question. On this website, you recommend the Garmin Delta Sport Pro Hunting Dog but I found a video on you tube where you state that the Martin Systems chameleon 3b  and micro b collar are your go to favorite. So would like some clarification as to your recommendations for the right E-collar to purchase?

I have a cattle dog and I was hanging out the couch with my gf and he knows her and loves on him all the time but yesterday he nipped her but didn’t break skin. Me and her were sitting on the couch i was petting him and she was just sitting and wasn’t moving watching tv then he walked over me and just put his mouth around her arm. Again didnt show any other sign of aggression and didn’t break the skin but it was a bite. I think he was demanding pets by biting her because idk what else couldve caused it. How would I go about fixing that? I grabbed him by the collar and said no and that was it.

Hi Robert.Hope you,Janet & the boys are hangin in there! W/H Pointing Griffons, 2 males, 7.5yrs, brothers. Good basic obedience. Hunt great in field but won’t FETCH! At home-solid HOLD. Will HOLD & follow me. Solid OUT. But the transition to FETCH.. never great. One seems unsure what I want him to do & other will blow me off after 2 or 3 times. Always train them separately & keep upbeat tone, etc. Even with treats they don’t seem to know “go pick up the object & bring it to me” is the task. Looking for tips to get to the completed FETCH. Maybe I’m missing a step? Thank you & take care!

My 5 year old Mal/GSD bit my mother in-law and I don’t know what to do. Rocky has always been reactive but never aggressive and has never bitten anyone. This was not unprovoked as my mother in-law accidentally stepped on his paw with all her weight while wearing heavy boots. But Rocky’s reaction was way over the top as he bit her very hard. While he did not latch on, it was a very, very bad bite that resulted in her having to go to the emergency room and get several stitches. I am beyond devastated but I have 2 toddlers that I also need to make sure are safe. I love this Dog so much.

Hi Robert, We play with our dog a lot, Frisbee, fetch during walks, and tug/wrestle at home. My question is how can I increase his drive for the tug toy? When he grabs the tug its very relaxed and he often bites down and waits for me to do something. I try to be as crazy and interesting as possible, but he will just stop during mid play and stare at me as if he is unsure about what to do, other times he will tug and when we let him win he runs off with the toy in an attempt to shred it. We do leave toys around the house for him to play with. Is this devaluing our play?
