No matter how many workshops I teach, the Leash Lock is one thing that people always love and ask to see over and over again.
How you hold your leash is how you control your dog. If you have a monster grip on the leash to control your dog, you will be stiff in the rest of your body. This will make it hard for you to remain relaxed and enjoy the training. That is why learning this leash lock will give you a huge advantage in handling all kinds of dogs.
Your body should be relaxed to engage the dog and enjoy the training. You will be able to respond faster if you are relaxed. Tension is not your friend in life or in dog training!
