Hey Robert, I recently got a 16 week old malinois and we have had her for about 3 weeks. I’m afraid I’ve gave her to much freedom early on. I’ve crate trained her and she seems pretty good with it. I’ve only let her have run around in kitchen and living room so not the whole house. Anyway, when she is out of crate she is chewing on stuff she doesn’t need to and one thing is she gets my shoes constantly if there out. It’s almost like a game to her when I say no or give a negative it doesn’t phase her. I know I’m new to training so I must be doing something wrong. Plz help, Thank You

Hi Robert, on the first few nights/week of getting a new puppy, where do you recommend they sleep? As I’ve watched your videos and in one, you mention not to teach any commands or much in the first week. Should I start crate training from day one? or do you recommend they sleep out of the crate in the first week? I can’t seem to find an answer. Also, your videos are amazing. Ive been studying now, and get my pup Feb 4th.

Hello Robert and family, hope all the best for you. On the kennel I work we have tried a few brands of kibble. And we feel there is not a big difference between the top brands.
On a top year we used about 24 000 pounds of kibble mixed with raw. We had about 100 hard working dogs for several years, so a bit of experience was collected. I feel wi had bigger differences in quality when a brand changed owner than between the brands themselves. Of course the raw mixed in will flatten out the differences a lot. What is your experience. I think many people are over thinking the choice of kibble.
