Hi Robert, Maggie and I go for a fun car ride every day. I point out school buses and big trucks to get an excited reaction from her as she hangs her head out the window barking. I now realize how stupid that is and need to correct it. I have an ecollar but should probably use it on myself. Any suggestions short of no more rides?

I hope you are well, I’ve been out of the loop lately. Unfortunately I am getting divorced and will be moving in with my parents for the winter. I have 2Y(F) GSD and a 3Y(F) Treeing walker hound. My folks have a little Chihuahua mix 5Y(M). I am fairly confident the GSD will acclimate well with time, just have to watch for rough play. The hound is anxious around other dogs. When I brought the GSD home as a puppy I had to sit on the kitchen floor between them for 2hrs so the hound wouldn’t attack her. 3 days later they were friends. Any advice on how to make this transition? Thank you!

Best way to integrate 2 cats and a dog? We’ve had our working cocker for almost a year now, we separated them with a baby gate for the first month or so like everything online said to do but it has created a territory war. We have gotten the dog to a point where he doesn’t chase the cats but the cats maul him any time he’s in sight. I don’t care if they love each other but I do need them to co exist and juggling this for a year has been exhausting. Our trainer said to use a spray bottle on all 3 of them but this has not been working, just increasing the fear for all 3 of them.

Hello Robert and family.

A few weeks ago I was asked to take on a almost 2 year old male malinois from a mondioring trainer, the dog was too aggressive and lowe in drive. The dog has now mowed in with us. He has shown extreme drive and no aggression and I have pushed him hard.

He has a big potential for dog sport. The previous trainer/ owner had just gone through a lot and seemed a bit weak. I think the dog actually did see her as In need of protection and that did lead to the aggression. When he is with me he thinks that bushman has to fend for him self. And that makes him more relaxed??
