Shelter dogs are awesome, and need some help.  Almost every dog living in a shelter is there through no fault of their own.  They were given up on by a human they trusted.  It is my mission to help them.  It has been my mission for 15+ years.  I have taught dog training and canine behavior in shelters throughout the US.  

In this series I highlight dogs from a local shelter.  You will see what I see and what makes them adoptable.  Not every dog in the shelter is great, but this series will show you what I look for… and I hope dog trainers everywhere copy this idea and lend training and structure to shelter dogs.
