For those of you who were not aware, shortly after beginning training Karl with me – Jerome suffered a massive double stroke. He was hospitalized in serious condition for quite some time and lost the use of the right side of his body. Several people tried to talk Jerome into getting rid of Karl – I fought back with him.
But… how would Jerome be able to handle a strong Rottweiler like Karl? After all, he had just rescued him a few weeks before the stroke and we had only begun training. Well, I had an idea. Our good friend Joey donated his ecollar to Jerome and we had a plan.
This lesson will take it from there and give you an idea, not only how happy Jerome felt, but also how easily he was able to handle, train and work with Karl. Needless to say, these two are still together, better than ever! Thanks to the ecollar and some good training!
