This is Episode 3 with me and Schmoo. From the feedback I’ve received from members, you are really loving this series. It is completely different, as I’ve previously said. This is really the very first time I’m taking you guys with me during my day to day training – and I LOVE sharing it with you all!

As I said previously, the lessons on how to do most everything I’m doing in these sessions is here in a step by step process, but what I never did before was show you how to employ it in your training routine. THIS IS MY ROUTINE. What you’re watching is what we do from the minute we hit the training field, till we’re done.

This session incorporates a lot of topics including: FOCUS HEEL, HOLD with a correction, OUTING on a toy, also a short piece on some questions I’ve received about Schmoo holding my leg during tug play and a short little piece on how I end my session. That is possibly my favorite part… because as you’ll see, it’s fun even when it’s over!

Training emphasizes achieving a calm state before engaging in play. Techniques include teaching spins and ensuring proper positioning during exercises. The dynamics of tug play highlight allowing the dog to win and reinforcing positive behavior. Continuous engagement in play is crucial, keeping the dog happy and involved even after the formal training session ends.
