Hi Robert! Hope you guys are doing well. I’m getting married and moving from the US to Switzerland (Tecino is the canton, this is the Italian area of Switzerland), with my 4 Rottweilers + 1 Pitbull and was looking for a sports dog trainer so that my wife can learn to manage the pack. She does not have experience with this type of dog, so I want to make the experience as easy as possible for her. There are no specific issues to resolve with the dogs. So it is building her up to manage them. Thanks!!

Hello Mr.Cabral, I have a 3.5 year old hound/lab mix. He appears to have a strong bond
with me due to establishing this when he was young using your videos. However, lately he will bark at me whenever I give him a command. He won’t comply until I correct him sternly. when we play fetch, he will take the toy and play with it by himself instead of engaging to me. I try to run away to spark excitement and make my voice very animated. I can’t tell if he’s becoming too dominant or if I’ve done something to damage our relationship. Any advice would help. Thank you!

I recently adopted an intact male German Shepherd. He has been marking everything – including things in the house. Any tips or suggestions to break this? I do we neuter him and hope this helps?

Hi Robert! Happy New Year. 7.5 month old Mal. His recall is pretty solid, but not 100% yet. I’m working e-collar to get him 100% off-leash (eventually). One problem I’m having is all of the recall training I’ve learned here has paid off, and he likes to stick to me like glue. So, when I try to put some distance between us, so that I can practice recall, he automatically comes to me, even without calling him. I’m guessing that I need to work with him on staying in a down or sit position to get the distance between us to continue work on the recall. Suggestions?

Hi Robert! My dog, a 1.5-y Alaskan Husky lady, is getting over-obsessed with balls. She was usually very excited about them, but over the past month, I noticed that she was slightly shaking when we were leaving the house and I had balls in my hands. Today, she was shaking so strongly that even her teeth started grinding. It scared me a lot. What should I do? Should I stop playing fetch with her? I googles it and read a few articles, all saying it is not normal, but no advises how to approach it right now… Thank you in advance.

At what point would you recommend conditioning e collar or prong collar to a puppy? I thought 6 months but then I see pretty reputable trainers use it at younger ages so I was curious on what your thoughts were? And what she the expectations for a puppy be under 6 months? Thank you so much for all you do!
