Hi Robert, I adopted a former sled dog (Scandinavian Hound). He’s about 5 years old and has only ever known kennels and racing. Whenever I try to take him for a walk on a leash, he whines and whimpers the whole time. It’s better when we go jogging, but there he is like a cannon ball. How can I train him to stop whining all the time? There are two other dogs in the household who walk very well on a leash.

My leashed 5-month-old Belgium Malinois female & I were standing in a parking lot visiting with humans when an aggressive off-leash Lab-Rotti type dog came rushing at us from about 50 yards away, & aggressively came right at my girl, she snarled & told him to back off. The off-leash dog started snarling & attacking my dog. I kicked the other dog in the butt hard & then stepped forward & proceeded to yell no! The other dog retreated. The other dog kept trying to come back at my dog so I just kept aggressing on him. My dog did not bark or aggress on the other dog when I told her No!
