Given that Malinois were bred as herding dogs, why do the game of two-toy with Schmoo? A herding ball is a natural for them but you would need a larger area than your yard, perhaps the agility training area to use it.

What’s your opinion on giant schnauzers? We currently have a 1 year old working cocker spaniel and plan on getting another dog when he is around 3 or 4, the best breeder in Canada has a 2 year wait list. I know working cockers are high energy and high prey drive so they don’t suit all breeds. We do 1 private training session and do 4 group classes a month with him as well as starting him in agility so I’d love another dog that can do sports and keep up with him. Any other recommendations are appreciated!

My GSD Rescue dog is improving many ways with the benefit of your videos and she loves her indoor crate between walks, play, training sessions and to sleep at night…However she’s obsessed with chewing whatever bedding I put in there. She’s destroyed donnas and covers, blankets, towels and several of my old woolen jumpers I’ve put there for warmth as it’s still winter here. What do you suggest I do? She also digs huge holes in the yard outside.

I’ll be picking up my puppy this Thursday and wanted to ask if it’s recommended to bring a blanket or cloth to gather the mother’s and littermates’ scent. Would this help my puppy transition more smoothly into his new home?”

4 month old Malinois is bored of basic luring. Should I continue on with hand signals and word recognition as I have? Which he is picking up easily or should I hold off? He really is quite advanced for the ages your videos suggest I should train at. I don’t want him bored and he’s very quick to pick anything up.

Today the owner of the dog Mills was breed with came to visit us he is going to take one puppy from this litter. Him and his dog took tired please in mondioring wc 2024, when he described what he was looking for in a dog he was describing the makeup of a good sleddog there was no real difference just minor nuances. Cool that people from two very different dogsports can Look for so much of the same stuff in a dog. Maybe a good dog is just a good dog and the differences is often smaller than we think? På hope you and yours are doing well.

Skye, my 9 year old GSD female (had her since she was 5 months old), and Raine, my 4 month old female GSD puppy. After 6 long weeks Raine is finally getting the hang of knowing to go to the back door when she needs to poop. But peeing is a totally different situation. She can hold her pee for 7 or more hours at night, tethered to close proximity to her bed or for 5+ hours confined to the kitchen if I’m out during the day. But even after having just been out 20 or 30 mins prior to pee, she will stop and squat anywhere in the house and pee. I’m not smart enough to figure out how to fix it.
