The HOLD – Part 1

The HOLD is one of the major components in the retrieve.  It is a simple thing to teach a dog but making it proper and perfect which means the dog should bring the object to me, HOLD it and then release it only when I ask, is a little more work.

I want to address this, but it literally could take several hours’ worth of video to teach and explain.  So, to address it, I’ll break it down into a few sessions so that you can easily grasp it and teach it fairly to your dog.
