  High Drive (Rio) Video Question…

  Just finished watching this lesson, and it was great….reminded me a lot of my drivey Border Collie who is super toy motivated. I had a question about the “why” behind Robert’s comment that he would only reward/train with toys vs. treats going forward….

  This is definitely what I like to do too, but it had been suggested to me in the past that the toys were TOO stimulating and increasing his excitement in high distraction situations.

  I guess my question is whether that matters or not, especially if the toys are what helps with focus on me, and I’m able to turn it on/off etc….just looking for a little clarity on that particular comment!
