  I have canceled my membership today and just wanted to say thank you to all for the good info. Just a last few things to add my 2 cents.

  Don’t let your dog train you on how to walk. Train your dog to walk as if you are the boss (leader of the pack). There are a lot of questions that could be answered with “Be the leader of your pack” and let your dog know this.

  Have consistency with your training. Dorothy walks better with me than my wife. She knows the rules with me and will push them with my wife.

  Give your dog time to learn, Dorothy has gone from an uncontrollable dog to a good dog, most of the time.

  Never stop training. Every day there is training happening in our house. A lot less than 6 months ago. We work on different things every day.

  Dorothy was not an easy dog at first, she has had several issues. Watching videos and focusing on her training has solved the big ones. Some of my neighbors have called me names because I am focused on training my dog and this will cause them problems with their dog. Now Dorothy is better behaved and their dog is still causing them problems.

  This brings me back to “Be the leader of your pack”. Your dog will follow you to good or bad behavior, depending on where you lead.
