    Hi guys,

I have a 7 month old Amstaff girl who is pure love and curiosity. She is confident and calm around both people and animal. Never showed any signs of aggression.

We are working pretty hard, doing heel work, tracking deer and basic obedience.

Sometimes she goes up in too high excitement/stress during work or play, and starts nipping hands and the leash. It’s really hard to shut her down, and one time I even showed her that I don’t accept that kind of behavior and laid her down gently but firm, holding her until she calmed down. Took about 30 seconds until she relaxed and then I gave her praise and we continued our session.

What should I do? I’m scared this could turn into aggression – even tho i can’t imagine her being aggressive towards me or any other human.

    Big love from Sweden.
