I purchased a HS 2.25 prong collar for my 6 month old Labrador. I can’t believe what a difference it made in our walks. I was using a slip lead. Some walks were good , some were terrible.
I take him on 4 walks a day. Two with the prong for training. He pays attention to me and I barely need any corrections. I find all my walks much improved in one short week.

Hi Deborah, I have similar experiences. I am using 2.25 HS for my 6mth GSD. He is very obedient, but he started to pull on the lash. He is also quite emotional, and gets excited around other dogs. He is not agressive, he wants to play, but as I am teaching him not to great every dog this was challenging. Since we are using prong collar, he is much more relaxed and seams to be more concentrated on me on walks. And similar to you, I barelly need to use corrections and if I need them, very small pop is enough.
