- Share an issue you have discovered while using the site.

January 15, 2021:
- Added ability to stay SIGNED IN for 30 days. Before the system would log members out after only 15 minutes of leaving the site.

- Fixed issue with Reply button freezing in discussions.
- Changed Groups menu text to Community

- Changed Courses label back into Lessons
- Changed Lessons label into Video Lessons
Courses implies there is a series of lessons to complete which is not the case. Thanks for the suggestion Rajesh.

- Combined important foundational lessons into course for new members – expect more courses as the weeks go by.

Love this new format! Group discussions are a great feature. Finding videos are so much easier now. Thanks for all the hard work to make things better for all of us!

I have noticed one issue, when I click the post button for groups it just sits there and acts like it is trying to post but never stops. I have to hit the cancel button and refresh the page in order for my post to show up on my end.
Other than that, everything has been FANTASTIC

I’ve noticed that as well. Refreshing the window fixes it. Looks to be an issue with the animation when clicking post because the message has been posted.
Hoping to find a fix soon.

I sent you an email Alin before I saw this topic. What are your thoughts on implementing a dark mode for at least the community/forum section of the site where a lot of us members will be spending a lot of time? I assume there’s some sort of limitation, seeing as you thought about it for the Courses section, but I’d thought I’d present the idea.

Saw the email.
It is something I wanted to do but this “theme” that is being used on the site is limiting using the dark mode throughout the whole site. I’ve tried editing all the CCS code to be able to do that but unfortunately it breaks a lot of content.
For now the theme devs choose to just use the dark mode on just the lessons – as you will notice, while in a lesson the menu bar extends the full width of the site to make room for the addition dark mode and full screen icons.
I imagine they will add it in a future update and then I will be able to access it without breaking the website.

Just noticed that if I click and go directly to a discussion, there is no option to “like” a post or pic, but if I am in the group feed, there is. Not sure if this is on purpose, or a glitch.

That’s because Feeds and Discussions are technically different with this software. Feed is like the general hub of the group, it offers different kinds of interactions and abilities. Discussions are meant to be a forum when people want to dig deep.
You’ll have to click reply in order to be able to post an image in a discussion.
I’ll try to find a better way to merge the two but this might not be a possibility.

The community page shows that there are 2 pages of discussions to look at but if I click the “2” or the arrow, it sends me to the website landing page if you aren’t signed in.

Well Member Live Chats archive is suppose to be on this page – https://robertcabral.com/members-video-archive/ but Robert doesn’t always add it to the playlist so the newest one doesn’t show up.
The one I showed up in was on his normal YouTube channel – Video is called Online Dog Training.
I probably should fine a way to incorporate all past Member Live Chat videos within the groups somehow for archiving.

Thanks. I found the one with you on YouTube (it’s great to have a face to put with your name!), but it doesn’t look like there is anything from 2021 in the Members Live playlist. 🙁 In the past, I could watch them from the player window where you all announced the upcoming Live session, but that isn’t there anymore. It would be great to have a way for those of us who might not be able to make the Live session. I know you are incredibly busy, but maybe you can put it on what must be an ever growing “To Do” list with all the requests coming in!

I just tried to upload a discussion but not sure where it went. I re-uploaded and still having issues with it not showing up in Discussions. Is there an approval process or something, where you or Robert have to approve before it shows up in public discussions?

There is no approval process for discussions – they go LIVE when you click on post. More than likely it is on the 2nd page of the discussions and that page is bugged out right now. Hoping to get it fixed today.
On the groups page – the most recent replies are the ones that show up at the top. I’ll try and get it fixed asap.
You can also click on your profile and you will see a groups tab, you should be able to verify its active from there.
Sorry will work on it asap!

Hey Alin,
Super small issue that might just be related to Microsoft Edge search engine. The “Eyeball” to see password and confirm password when I joined and set up my account didn’t actually show the password.
Just letting you know, not sure if that’s because edge is awful or something in coding can fix it, chrome browser worked fine.
