Hello,
We have a 12 week old Mal. Since we got him at 8 weeks he does this odd thing. He will chew a stuffed animal type Kong and paw like a cat and sometimes whine, mostly when tired. Recently he has added, for lack of better words, “humping” along with the chewing and pawing. I assumed this was a missing mom think since he did it while tired but a month later he is still doing it with added action. Anyone else experience this?

I do not understand. Those are all things puppies do. Did I miss something? Though the humping mine usually try with each other and I do not allow it. Pawing and whining happen a lot. He is just playing.

Thank you for your response. My last puppy never did any of these things. Like I said it looks like missing mom, nursing type thing cause he only does it when he is tired.
